House of Lionheart was founded to be a bridge for the world. A place where stories, cultures, and communities meet.
Born from founder Jasmine Q. Smith’s desire to reconnect the scattered roots of the African diaspora, the House began as a dream of reunion, but quickly grew beyond a single heritage.
What started as one woman’s calling to unite a bloodline has become a creative collective connecting communities and diasporas of every kind; African, Caribbean, Latin American, Asian, European, and Indigenous.
But, it doesn’t stop there. Some lions walk alone, but the Pride is always stronger than the one. Within the House of Lionheart, the Pride welcomes not only those of these lineages, but all who long to rediscover their belonging in the world.
We exist to connect humanity. People of every heritage, faith, and background who share a cry to belong, to create, and to build together. We use the word diaspora not to divide, but to honor our shared story. For humanity itself is one great diaspora, spread across the earth and called back into harmony.
Grounded by its four pillars; Pilgrimage, Production, Publication, and Philanthropy, the Pride moves through every avenue of expression: journey, story, creation, and service. Together, they form a living framework where art, purpose, and unity meet.

To join the Pride is to answer the call.
To lend your light, your gifts, and your story to the bridge we are building across the divides of humanity.
We are calling on pilgrims and adventurers, storytellers and documenters, directors and musicians, givers and organizers; every kind of creative and builder whose work strengthens the Pride and the world it serves.
Here, you’ll find a space for community, recognition, and amplification of your craft. While funding is still being established, your Pride stands ready to uplift you, share your work, and help it reach the hearts it was meant to touch.
As a member of the Pride, you’ll gain access to mentorship within your field and fresh perspectives that might stir your soul from fellow collaborators. Though we are not yet a fully realized travel group, publishing house, production studio, and scholarship foundation — yet is the key word.
We are building toward that future together.
And until then, we will do what a Pride always does. Protect, uplift, and stand beside its own.
